I can't remember but I have wanted to try lashes from House of Lashes for so long now, I finally got a pair at IMATS, I was so surprise when I saw a vendor selling them. Here is my review on House of Lashes Temptress.

About The Product
Described by House of Lashes "Temptress redefines the word “wispy” for lashes, by tripling hair volume, and doubling length. This style can be cut and altered any way you desire, and when subtly curled, it can help you take any man’s breath away. You can even add a little mascara when you’re ready to make an even bolder move."

Review
These lashes are from the Glam collection one of four collections that House of Lashes offers. These are drama, drama, drama! They look so glamorous! They are not light weight lashes but there also not too heavy on your eye lids. They blend well with your natural lashes and they are very easy to put on. Temptress like all House of Lashes, lashes are made with 100% human hair and cruelty free synthetic fibers. Below are pictures of me with the Temptress lashes so you can see how they look.

BH Cosmetics Creme Luxe Lipsticks Review

Recently I bought some products from BH Cosmetics, they were having an amazing sale. Which if you think about it BH is always having amazing's sales and deals. Along with lipsticks I also purchased the Take Me To Brazil Palette, lashes, a eyeliner and blushes. I still haven't received my blushes as there was a mix up with that and in place I got a brush set. So lets get on with this review!
 About The Product
From BH Cosmetics website "BH Creme Luxe Lipstick lovingly wraps your lips in moisturizing vibrant color. Enriched with Shea Butter, Beeswax and Vitamin E, these 12 hydrating shades come in Satin, Shimmer and Creamy finishes. Pucker up!"

  Review
The three shades that I bought were Moody Merlot, Toasted and Berry Bite, there were other shades I wanted to purchase but sadly they were sold out at the time of my purchase. I have to say I was so surprised with the pigmentation of these lipsticks. I thought because this is not a high end lipstick that the pigmentation wouldn't compare to a high to mid end brand. I thought that maybe this lipstick might be a bit sheer or the would be as pigmented and vibrant as for example MAC lipsticks. I was wrong! The swatches on my hand are the lipsticks with just one stoke of the lipstick. These lipsticks have got great pigmentation. This lipsticks as also very creamy and do not dry out your lips. I love each colour I got. Moody Merlot is a deep burgundy red with a creamy finish, Berry Bite is a berry red which also has a creamy finish and Toasted is described by BH as a spiced neutral bronze with a creamy finish.

Price
You can purchase these lipstick at BH Cosmetics website.
$3.95 US (sale price)
$7.95 US (regular price)

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving to my Canadian readers!

Have you or world you try these lipsticks?

KQC Xtreme Mini Waver Demo & Review

Over the holidays I borrowed my cousin video camera for a few days and I filmed two videos for you guys one is a demo/review and the next is a get ready with me video which I will post later in the week or the week after. So I hope you enjoy! Hopefully I can borrow her video camera again some time soon and make more videos.

About The Product
From Flatironexperts.com "KQC Xtreme Mini Waver comes with a special blend of tourmaline - ceramic hybrid plates to create sexy waves. The unique combination of tourmaline ceramic  leads to natural properties that result in the powerful natural emission of ions and far-infrared heat upon being crushed and heated. It helps seal the hair cuticle as the hair is styled - repelling humidity and static for incredible lasting frizz-free shine.  Perfect for any stylist in need of creative ideas on any work travels or simply for creativity and fun."

Price
$49.95CAD

Update: Since I filmed this video sometime at the beginning of January I have never used the mini waver again and I can't picture myself doing this again. The process was long and by the end of the day my final thoughts were this is an ok look but personally for me I don't love it. I felt at the end of the day my hair looked like it was crimped like in the 80s lol and not like waves.

What do you think of the Mini Waver/my hairstyle?

MAC Paint Pot Indianwood Review and Swatch

MAC Paint Pot Indianwood Review

Last week I went to The Bay's, MAC counter with the intention of purchasing primer but they were all sold out of the med to dark primer which I was surprised, but one of the MAC makeup artist told me that Paint Pot works just as good as the primer and that I should give it a try. Since it was the same price as there primers I said ok. So I tested out I think it was called Groundwork and when I was ready to check out the makeup artist discover that they were all sold out of that too. So next we I picked another colour that was close to my skin tone to use as primer and ... what do you know they were all sold out of that too. Then finally after she suggested Indianwood and I just ok I will take it. At that point I really didn't care to try it on at the store I just wanted to go home. So that's my little story of how I got this colour and now time for the review.

Paint Pot is a high pigmented eye shadow that is creamy but dries quick which mean if your using it as primer you kinda have to work fast to spread it across your eye lid since it does dry quick. MAC website describes Indianwood as a "metallic antique bronze (Frost)". Now I have to say as a primer this product truly works wells I recently used this when I first go it test it out and my eye makeup lasted for more then 8 hours and did not crease at all. Indianwood just as an eyeshadow is also great since it a pretty colour and I love shade how it's kind of metallic and bronzy because those type of colours look really good on me.

Would I Purchase This Again? YES I would for sure next time I want to get a colour that has more of a satin finish and it closer to my skin tone for use as a primer. But for sure I will be buying paint pots and trying out the other colours that they have.
