Victoria’s Secret Bold Liner Night Owl Review

About The Product
From Victoria Secret website "Shine. Sparkle. Steal the spotlight with Beauty Rush Bold Line Liquid Liner. This precision liner glides on smoothly for flawless definition, intense color and the most dramatic eye looks. Glamorous with signature VS stripes, it’s a grab-and-go makeup essential"

Review
I would have to say that this liquid liner is average. I do like the tip of the liner but when apply the liquid over eye shadows the tip quickly dries out and I have to re dip the eyeliner tip into the bottle 4 times when I use this product. It also rubs off easily. I do however like that it's very black and it's a good price but I have tried other liquid liners from Covergirl and Maybelline, I would have to say I would purchase liquid liners from those brands instead of Victoria's Secret. This liner also comes in Sable and Black. (the shade I have is not on there website so I don't think they sell the night owl shade anymore)

Current Lip Favourites

Here are my current favourite lip products that I have mostly been wearing.

My favorite lip stick is hands down MAC Hang Up I just love this lipstick so much! Hang Up is  described by MAC as a deep berry with a cremesheen finish.

MAC Mall Madness is the lip gloss that I use the most, I wear this actually every time I've been to the mall since I got this or sometimes I just wear it when I'm at home. From the MAC website "High-gloss, glass-like finish tinted with violet, red and blackened plum - as rich and ravishing as Veronica herself. Wear it alone or pair it with lipstick for a perfectly glossed look. Limited edition."

Maybelline Plum Prospect I like to wear with Mall Madness. Plum Prospect is a sheer plum lip stick. Which I wouldn't really call this product a lip stick its more like a lipstick/lip gloss in one. With this product you can wear it as a nice sheer wash of colour or you can build it up.

Favourite Nail Combo

I love doing my nails, and trying new things with them. Recently I tried two of my favourite nail polishes together and I love the out come of the colour.

Sally Hansen Lacey Lilac is one of my top favourite nail colours and I love OPI Significant Other which gives off a purple, pink, yellowish green shimmer. Together I think they look awesome you can't see it to well in the picture but with these polishes together they give off a lavender colour with a yellowish green shimmer. First I applied Lacey Lilac and then on top just one coat of Significant Other.

Make Up For Ever Dark Raspberry 58 Matte Eye Shadow Review

I was lucky enough to be sent this eye shadow to review for you all from Make Up For Ever Canada in Dark Raspberry 58 and here is my review :)

About The Product
From the Make Up For Ever website "This matte eye shadow is made of highly-pigmented pressed powder and comes in a variety of shades. It contains nylon powder, allowing it to be blended as desired. The result is intense and long-lasting. Since its diameter is the same as the powder blushes, it can be included in a custom-built palette."

Review
This is my first time trying an eye shadow from this brand and I have to say that it for sure will not be my last. First I'm going to talk about the packing this eye shadow comes in a sleek black compact slim enough to travel with that closes with a magnet. I like that it closes shut with a magnet I don't think any other brand does this for single shadows as well this shadow is also larger in diameter then other shadows I have tried. The only bad thing about the packaging is that the shadow number is included on the back but not the name of the shadow. Dark Raspberry I have to say is the most pigmented matte shadows I have ever tried in the family colour of red tones, this shadow is vibrant and highly pigmented. In the picture above I provided two swatches one without primer and one with. It's smooth, long lasting, easy to apply and not chalky, I experienced no fall out with applying this shadow to my eye lid. I also tried this shadow out as a blush as well for around 5 hours and again it was long lasting with out any setting spray and I didn't notice any fading of the shadow. I have to say because it's so pigment I think I put on a bit too much of it as blush but I wasn't expecting the shadow to be so vibrant. Make Up For Ever Eye Shadows come in so many other colours you can not only use there eye shadows as blush if you want but you can also use the shadows to contour. For example if your a really pale skin tone most bronzer are going to be too dark to contour with and so why not use a long lasting shadow a few shadow darker then your skin tone to contour with. Or if your skin tone is dark you might have problems finding bronzers because for you they might be to light, same thing as I said before use a long lasting shadow like Espresso 17 to contour with. Make Up For Ever also offers along with Matte shadows, Satiny, Iridescent and Diamond shadows.

Nail Polish Collection - Part 5 OPI

Here is part 5 of my nail polish collection.

1. Alpine Snow Matte is a matte nail polish, with this matte polish is does chip faster then other polishes and only last chip free a few days. It's recommend for this polish by OPI not to use a base coat, top coat, drying products or lotions when wearing this matte polish. At times this polish can get a bit clumpy if you not quick with apply it to your nails because OPI matte polishes dry pretty quick.

2. Russian Navy Matte this is one of my favourite polishes and its my favourite OPI polish. I love that it's a dark blue polish it's almost dark enough to look like black and I love that its matte it just makes the colour look even better with a matte finish. It's recommend for this polish by OPI not to use a base coat, top coat, drying products or lotions when wearing this matte polish. At times this polish can get a bit clumpy if you not quick with apply it to your nails because OPI matte polishes dry pretty quick.

3. Need Sunglasses? I think this colour is to bright of an yellow polish I think I have only used this twice on my whole nails and when I do you it its only for nail art.

4. If The Fuchsia Fits is a pink polish that gives of fuchsia shimmer, its not a thick polish and you have to apply 3 to 4 layers or it will be kind of see through.

4. Significant Other is a beautiful spring polish, I love that it gives off a purple, pink, yellowish green shimmer. I don't have any polish that is like this and I would recommend this polish to everyone its so pretty. It's one of my favourites as well as Fuchsia Fits you need to apply 3 to 4 coats of this polish.

All Gone [Products That I've Finished] #2

Here are is another post of posts that I have recently finished and what I think about them.

1. Olay 2 in 1 Daily Facial Cloths - 33 cloths come in a package. Textured side is used to exfoliate with blue micro beads and the smooth side washes out dirt, oil and makeup. I like the wash my face with the micro beads then I turn it over to the other side and I use the smooth side to rinse my face. I also like to cut it in have it I'm not wearing any makeup and only use half of the cloth to clean my face. I like the product, I don't use it everyday and it is my 3rd time repurchasing this.

2. China Glaze Grape Juice - has silver sparkles in it and its a beautiful colour I would by this polish again.

3. Revlon Colour Burst Lip Butter Pink Truffle - is an everyday lip colour, this is creamy and keeps my lips hydrated as well it last for a good amount of time and I would by this again.

4. Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment - I love love love this so much I really want to purchase another one next time I'm in Sephora. This lip product gives a red tint to your lips. It's hydrating and great to were at night before bed keeps your lips hydrated until the morning I would recommend this to everyone.

5. The Body Shop Vanilla Bliss Lip Balm - Keeps my lips from getting dry I like wearing this at night and during the day because there is a little shimmer in the lip balm. Perfect for wearing out if your the type of person that doesn't like wearing coloured lip gloss or if your not a lipstick person.

MAC Fix+ Review

After watching so many of my favourite gurus on YouTube using Mac Fix+ I decided that I want to give this product a try and here is my review.

About The Product
From MAC Cosmetics website "An aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up!"

Review
I've always wanted to try a setting spray and that is the main reason why I bought MAC Fix+ but there are also so many other uses for this product. For example you can use this product to bring more intensity in your eye shadows as well you can use this to turn your eye shadows into an eyeliner. I love using this with my Glamour Doll Eyes loose shadow in Super Nova to make it into an eyeliner, click here to see more on that. I love using MAC Fix+ to set my makeup and ever since I have bought it I've been using it every time I wear makeup. However I have oily skin and MAC Fix+ doesn't help to make my eye makeup last longer, I still get creasing on my lids but I don't believe this is because of Fix+ I think it because of the primer I use and that fact that my eye lids are oily. I was hoping that maybe MAC Fix+ could help that problem but it hasn't. But is has helped my face makeup to last throughout my day which I love because before I started using this product my blush or bronzer never seems to last all day and by the end of the day my face would get oily, I've notice that with Fix+ my face makeup last all day long and it not as oily as it used to be by the end of the day. Sometimes I notice little to no oil at all on my face with using MAC Fix+. This product also dries quickly once you spray it on your face, which you should spray almost about arm length away. It dries in 10 to 30 seconds and I love that the pump can be opened and closed, just turn it to the left to open and the right to close. This little feature it great for when your traveling no product will accidently spray out. Also if you have oily skin keep in mind this does give a dewy finish to your makeup some people with oily skin like myself might not like that but I find that the dewy finish doesn't make your skin look oily if you only spray it to set your makeup. I found that when I used it before and after as some people use it before to hydrate their skin and after to set makeup, it made my skin look oily and not dewy.

Price
MAC Fix+ $25.00CA 100ml
MAC Fix+ Travel Size $12.00CA 30ml

I would recommend getting the travel size to see first how you like the product, I didn't get the travel size only because they don't sell them at MAC counters.

Have you tried MAC Fix+, what do you think of this product?

I hope you have a good day and thanks for reading and following my blog :D
