Amazon White Clay Thickening Hair Spray is a firm hold spray, which is fast drying and thickens the hair. This hair spray is formulated with Amazon White Clay extracts of Croton Lechleri resin and raw avocado oil. These help to provide long lasting hold on your style but keeping your hair flexible. I liked the hair spray I think it did a great job at keeping my hair style in place and it didn't make my hair hard. I didn't like the smell as I don't like the smell of most hair sprays. Amazon White Clay Thickening Whipped Clay is  a hair mousse which is formulated with Amazon White Clay extracts of Croton Lechleri resin and raw avocado oil. This mousse help to create fullness and texture to the hair while holding your hair style in place. The mousse I didn't like to much because I found it to be kind of sticky on my hands and I just not a person who uses mousse, but I did like the look of the mousse which looked like whip cream and wasn't foam like as well it didn't start to dissolve right away like other mousses that I have tried in the pass. So if your a person that uses mousse I think you would like this. Amazon White Clay & Acacia Collagen Hair Plumper is a fast drying mousse and hair spray in one product that gives fullness and plumps up the volume and gives lift to your hair. Formulated with Amazon White Clay and Acacia Collagen infuse every hair strand with moisture, shine and flexible hold that creates bouncy and healthy hair. I personally notice a bit of a difference in my hair and it did plump it up a bit when I applied it to my roots. I like this more then the Whipped Clay because it more simple to use and you don't have to get the product on to your hands. I would prefer using this then the Whipped Clay. Overall I liked the hair plumper and hair spray the most!

MAC CYBER LIPSTICK REVIEW

Cyber is a lipstick that has been on my wish list for a while and I finally got this. I'm so in love with this vampy purple lipstick!

About The Product
Described by MAC " Colour plus texture for the lips. Stands out on the runway. Simmers on the street! What made M·A·C famous."

Review
Recently I have been getting more into purple shade lipsticks as I have discovered I really like the way they work for my skin tone. To add to my growing collection I picked up Cyber from MAC which is a vampy dark plum purple lipstick with a Satin finish. I love the darkness of the shade it's a prefect fall colour! You do however need to apply a few stokes of this lipstick to get it's true colour but I don't mind that, because those who want to try this can wear a light application of the colour or if you like bold lipstick then you can really build up the colour to your liking.

Price
$18.00 CA
$15.00 US

Overall
*Satin finish
*Vampy dark plum lipstick
*Prefect fall shade
*Need a few stokes of lipstick to get true colour of shade

MUFE ROUGE ARTIST INTENSE REVIEW

One of the items I picked up from IMATS was a lipstick from MUFE I have there Aqua Rouge lip glosses but I have never tired there lipsticks. I decided to try a simple colour. Something that I can wear daily that would go with any kind of makeup.

About The Product
Rouge Artist Intense is a highly pigmented, long lasting lipstick that delivers a rich colour in one stoke. This lipstick is formulated with 50% more pigment then other lipsticks, Rouge Artist Intense gives a true to colour result.

Review
When I first applied this I was surprised with how pigmented it was and how in one stoke the colour was what it is in the tube. Usually with lipsticks I have to apply it a few times on my top lip because it is darker then my lower lip. With this lipstick I didn't have to do that. I'm also really loving the colour of this lipstick which is described on the Sephora website as "satin rosewood" to me this is a nude pink lipstick. This lipstick is also formulated without Parabens, it's creamy and long lasting. I wore this lipstick in the afternoon and did not need to reapply during my day. However you may need to reapply after eating, which is normal to do. I want to get another shade of this lipstick which Sephora offers 50 shades!

Price
You can purchase this lipstick at Sephora

$23.00 CA

Overall
*Gives a true to colour result
*Applies in one stoke

Glam Glow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment Review

Hello to my lovely readers! Today I'm reviewing Glam Glow the overpriced face mask lol. I have wanted to try this for a while now. When I was at Sephora and I saw they had a smaller jar of Glam Glow for a lesser price I decided that I would give Glam Glow a try. Originally I did not want to buy the one in the black jar I wanted to buy the Supermud Treatment because I had tried a sample of it before but that is not offered in a smaller size.

About The Product
From Sephora "This mud mask leaves skin noticeably radiant and glowing. It works with the body's natural moisturizing collagen to provide gentle resurfacing exfoliation and helps to leave skin smoother, brighter, and softer. While providing tighter skin texture and tighter pores, it provides a more youthful appearance and absorbs impurities without removing natural oils."

Review
The first time I used this mask I was excited as I liked the sample that I tried of the Supermud Treatment. To apply this mask I used a foundation brush to apply a thin later because that was recommend to me by one of the skin care specialist at Sephora. When I applied this mask and it started to dry, I felt like there was something wrong with the product. There is a "tingling" affect that you're to feel when you wear this mask however I felt like my face was BURNING AND BAD this was not a "tingling" feeling at all. I couldn't even last the minutes that it suggested to leave the mask on for that's how bad it burned. I went online and couldn't find one review that talked about the burning, I was scared. However the next day I found a review were someone talk about the burning and she recommend that the second time you use it it's not as bad. I tried it again and the burning was more of a tingle this time around. My face did feel smooth and soft after this mask. It also made my pores look a bit smaller for a certain amount of time and brighten up my skin a bit. I even noticed a scar that I had, started to fade with using this mask. I also like the when you wash this mask off it also exfoliates your skin. Glam Glow is also formulated without Parabens, Sulfates and Phthalates.

Price
You can purchase Glam Glow at Sephora which is wear I purchased mine.

0.5oz Jar
$21.00 CA/US

1.7oz Jar
$69.00 CA/US

Overall
*First use didn't tingle but burned
*Burning went away with second use and more
*No Parabens, Sulfates and Phthalates
*Leave skin bright, soft and smooth
*Smaller pores

Would you or have you tried this mask before?

Guest Post 10 Bonuses You Get When You Use Mineral Makeup

10 Bonuses You Get When You Use Mineral Makeup
By Elizabeth Rago
Taking a beauty cue from our ancient Egyptian ancestors of the world, one woman started the revival of mineral makeup in the mid-90’s. Leslie Blogett, creator of bareMinerals and Executive Chairman of BareEscentuals, took her passion of cosmetics and her brave ability to think beyond the surface level of a product and in 2001, became the #1 best selling brand on QVC. So, what’s all the gush about mineral makeup? Sure, this alternative to traditional foundation offers even skin tone and works well for those of us with a more sensitive dermis, but what other benefits does mineral makeup bring to the vanity table?
Here are 10 bonuses you get when using mineral makeup:
1. Illumination – The titanium dioxide in mineral makeup has a highly reflective quality, making this element fantastic for exuding the skin’s radiance.
2. Oil-free – mineral-based instead of oil-based means coverage without the clogging of pores.
3. Long-lasting and concentrated color – Minerals are mined and come in a rainbow of vibrant colors, so less is more when applying color.
4. Contains anti-inflammatory benefits – An FDA approved skin protectant, the zinc oxide in mineral makeup can soothe irritated skin like rosacea.
5. Available in a wide variety of shades to match your skin tone.
6. A great partner for sensitive skin – With no parabens, mineral oil, dyes or fragrance, mineral makeup is an excellent alternative for those with skin sensitivities.
7. Velvety smooth skin – NewBeauty Editors say, “If you tried mineral makeup (or haven't yet) and didn't get beautiful, even coverage, then the problem might be in the application. Mineral makeup should make your skin look velvety smooth and feel light on.”
8. Acts as a natural sunscreen – Providing a bit of SPF protection, titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are physical sunscreens reflecting the sun’s harmful ultra-violet rays.
9. Locks in moisture and feels like you are wearing nothing on your skin as opposed to traditional liquid foundation.
10. Confidence – When you find a cosmetic that compliments your skin type, it’s a dream come true. Not only will you exude a vibrant glow as the reflective element in mineral makeup causes your skin to permeate the world, but your inner glow will amplify your beauty as well.
Of course any foundation, whether it be liquid, powder, or mineral pose the possibility that pores can be clogged and result in irritation or breakouts. As with any cosmetic, caring for your skin is key. Invest in quality skin care that compliments your skin type to provide a fresh, healthy canvas for your desired mineral makeup product.
After the mineral makeup explosion, many cosmetic companies jumped at the chance of offering their customers the popular makeup line. But be aware that not all products labeled as “mineral” are pure. Many can contain fillers, dyes, and chemicals. A word to the wise? Always read the label and do not be afraid to ask your skin care professional questions. He or she should be able to educate you as well as advise you on the product that compliments your skin.

The Balm Mary Lou Manizer Review

I have been wanting to try The Balm Mary Lou Manizer for the longest time! I was planning to purchase it online, however I was in the mall one day with a friend and I was at this area of the mall that I never go to because there isn't any stores in that area that interest me. But as I was walking by a store window I saw a display for The Balm products I knew I had to go into that store. Lucky for me, they had the Mary Lou Manizer and it was the last one, so I snatched it up! Here is my review on the Manizer, enjoy :)

About The Product
From The Balm "Meet Mary-Lou Manizer, a seemingly innocent honey-hued luminizer that catches everybody’s eye. This highlighter, shadow and shimmer diffuses light so your skin looks softer and younger while adding a subtle glow. "

Review
Mary Lou Manizer is a honey hue luminizer or you can also call it a highlighter, which helps to reflect light to highlight an area of your face. For example to make your cheek bones stand out you can apply this product to the tops of your cheek. I personally use this for that purpose as well I sometimes use it to highlight my cupid bow. Above are swatches of the product unblended and blended. This product gives I nice glow to your cheek bones, its super pigmented you don't need a lot of product.
This is a product, easy to blend, works well on a number of different skin tones. Which is why I think this is such a popular product is because a lot of different skin tones can use this. I also recommend when apply this to use a light hand as I said this is very pigmented so it can be easy to use too much and you wouldn't want shimmer overload.

Price
Mary Lou Manizer From The Balm
$24.00

Other places may price this for $26.00, I can't remember but I believe this was around the price I paid.
You can purchase this online from the The Balm or you can find it in stores.

Overall
*Honey hue luminizer
*Very pigmented
*Should be apply with light hand
*Works for an number of skin tones

IMATS HAUL

This past weekend was IMATS Toronto and I went this year on Saturday with my cousin we stayed for about 2-3 hours and then we did other stuff. I had over all a great day and here are the items that I bought this year at IMATS.

IMATS was ok this year we did stay for long so this year I didn't see any guest speakers or stay around for the student competition because my cousin and I woke up at 6am to get ready and be there a few minutes before 8am which is when they open the door. They didn't start until about 8:30am and the two booths that were packed was MAC and MUFE they had the biggest crowd of people. We went to both booths but decided because we waited so long at MUFE we didn't want to wait again in another long line because we were so hungry so the items I got at MAC are actually from the MAC store and not the booth at IMATS.

What I Got
Garland Lashes in 213, D-Wispy, 747S and DW ($1.00 each)
Red Cherry 213 x2 and 48 (4.00 each)
Ben Nye Final Seal ($21.00)
MAC Demi Wipes (12.00)
MAC Blush Ambering Rose ($21.00)
MAC Lipstick Cyber ($18.00) I however got this for free with the back to mac program
Lime Crime Poisonberry ($16.00)
Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense #29 ($16.00)
Wolfe Glitters ($3.00 each)
House Of Lashes ($12.00)
Velour Lashes Doll Me Up ($15.00)

Overall I saved on the MUFE lipstick which MUFE had a 40% discount, the Garland lashes and the Velour lashes. But the Red Cherry lashes you can buy online for around $2.50 as well the vendor that sold the House Of Lashes jacked up the price to $12.00 when online it's $9.00 for one pair but I just with shipping and handling I probably saved a bit of money.

What did you get at IMATS or what are you planning to get when it comes to your city?

HAPPY REMEMBRANCE DAY

Amazon White Clay Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner are formulated with Amazon White Clay, extracts of Croton Lechleri Resin as well as Raw Avocado Oil. With these ingredients they help to expand and infuse body and fullness into your hair. The combination of these two products together made my hair feel silky and smooth as well very soft. The conditioner was very creamy when I applied it to my hair and felt great. It wasn't heavy and did not weight my hair down. I really enjoyed the combination of these two together as well both the shampoo and conditioner have a nice natural smell, have you ever notice that some shampoo and conditioner have a fragrance smell but it's all chemical that are mostly not even good for your hair that they put into your shampoo. This is not the case with Amazon White Clay Shampoo and Conditioner the smell is so neutral, the smell of these two products remind me of the rain forest or of the ocean it's a very relaxing smell. Amazon Clay  Hair Spay is also formulated with the same ingredients as the shampoo and conditioner. The Amazon White Clay Hair Spray is similar to the mist but it provides a lost lasting hold to your hair as well as keeping it moveable and full of body. All products in this review are also formulated without Parabens, sulfates or animal products. As well all of the ingredients are organic and naturally grown through environmentally sustainable programs.
