First Impression - Kardashian Beauty (Hair)

I love the Kardashian, I'm a fan of them more so Khloe the most. I used to watch their show all the time and I even met Kim once which was amazing! I really have been dying to try their Kardashian Beauty Line and I have tried there line when it was called Khroma thanks to a friend of mine. However their is other stuff I really want to try and I wish that they sold this line in Canada but sadly  their cosmetics line is not sold here. Why'll browsing for some new hair care products to try I came across a Canadian sit called Clore Beauty Supply I found their hair card line and I knew I had to get something. Here is my first impressions review on this line :)

Valentines Day Makeup

Here is another Valentines Day look for you all, this look is simple with some gold shimmer on the lips and I nice bold pop of red/pink on the lips. For this look it's really more about the ombre lips then it is about the eyes, hope you guys like this look :)

NAYA RIVERA INSPIRED MAKEUP LOOK

I'm back with another make up post inspired by a black celebrity for Black History Month, this look is inspired by Naya Rivera who is from the hit show Glee. I don't watch Glee anymore but her character Santana was one of my favorites I really liked the solo or duet songs the Naya Rivera would see on the show. Also before Glee when Naya was a child she was on the show Smart Guy I used to love that show does anyone else remember it?

KARDASHIAN BEAUTY TOUCH TONE PALETTE REVIEW

Hello to my lovely readers, recently I hit 600 followers and I just want to say a big thank you. Hopefully you saw my makeup look I did using the Kardashian Beauty Touch Tone palette today I'm going to review that palette. 

About The Product

From Ulta website "Kardashian Beauty Touch Tones Gradient Eyeshadow is an eye color kit you will use with great frequency since it transmits mega-style options. This Eye Kit includes a stripe of separated, but blendable eyeshadows in three colors and a highlighter. Select the color tones you like and decide what tone you want simply by your application technique. Every tone coordinates, so there are no wrong decisions to worry about! Long lasting, buildable formulas mean Touch Tones don't require touch ups!"

Available in Echo, Silhouette and Mirage which is the palette I'm reviewing for you today.

Review

This palette comes with eight shadows which is in a plastic case palette. First I'm going to start with the matte shadows. There are two matte shadows in this palette both are neutral shadows. The matte shadows are chalky, I'm not going to lie this was a disappointment but when applied to the eye lid it blends out and looks natural. Next in the palette are the satin shadows. There are five satin shadows. I was so surprised at how pigmented the satin shadow are very nice quality, I have no complains with these shadows. Every single shade from the satin shadows is gorgeous. Last is the shimmer shadow which there is only one in this palette, this shadow is called a shimmer shadow on the back of the palette but I have to say it remind me of a pressed pigment. There is some fall out when applying this shadow and it is a bit flaky when picking up the product with a brush. To avoid fall out when I use this shadow which is a beautiful colour, I now spray my brush with fix plus first. This step makes the shadow even more pigmented and stop the fall out. With this shadow you need to work at it to apply to the eye lid which is disappointing because it's a beautiful shade. All together the shadow shadows that you can use for night and day, I would recommend this palette it is a nice palette for a great price.

KARDASHIAN BEAUTY A WEEK OF KISSES REVIEW

This gloss set was a gift I got, my friend knows that I love the Kardashians. My favorite is Khloe, and when my friend went to the US she got me this gift. Sadly the Kardashian Beauty line in not sold in Canada I wish it was but it is sold in the US and UK. Hopefully it will be coming to Canada soon.

Sundays gloss is nude with sliver shimmer, I have to say I don't like this gloss at all I don't think it is a really unattractive colour.

Mondays gloss is a peachy nude gloss.

Tuesdays gloss is an coral pink gloss with gold shimmer.

 Wednesday gloss is dark orange with gold shimmer. 

Thursdays gloss is a baby pink shade.

Fridays gloss is a hot pink shade.

Saturdays gloss is a berry tone shade.

My favorite shades are Monday-Wildflower Honey, Wednesday-Wild Honey and my favorite out of my favorites is Saturday Blackberry. I don't have a berry gloss only lipsticks so this is prefect for days I don't want to wear lipstick but I still want to wear a berry colour on my lips :)

Overall

◦ Feels like a plumping gloss with a tingle when applied, however tingling feeling does ago away 

◦ Hard to apply straight from tube does not have an even application, you really have to work at it to get a good coverage

◦ Wish this set was a gloss set that came in a plastic or glass tube with a wand applicator for better application of product

◦ Has a nice amount of colour pay off, not a sheer gloss set

◦ I personally think the packaging could be better not a fan of the design

◦ Not all shades are great for different skin tones

◦ Not a sticky gloss has a nice thick butter smooth feel on lips

◦ Colour fades after a few house, but I don't see that as a big deal 

◦ I do like the idea of this set, I hope they come out with more

◦ All glosses have a nice pleasant smell

How to Create This Eye Look

First step is to prime your eye lids and lower lash line.

Then I applied the dark plum satin shadow from the Touch Tones Palette to my crease and outer v. Apply the purple shadow also to the inner part of your crease as well. Then taking the 6th shadow from the left of the palette I applied that to the middle of my lid, when with a blending brush I blend the two colours together.

Then with the 3rd colour from the palette I applied that gold shadow to my inner lid and tear duct.  Then to blend out my inner crease I took the first shadow from that palette which is a matte nude with a blending brush I applied the shadow and blend out the edge of where the gold shadow stopped and purple shadow stop.

Then taking the copper shadow which is the 4th shadow in the palette I applied that with a light hand above my crease with a blending brush.

Then I applied with a blending brush a cream colour matte shadow to highlight my brow bone. This is the 2nd shadow in the palette.

For my lower lash like I applied the 3rd shadow into my tear duct, then a applied the same shadow that same shadow that is on the middle part of my lid onto the middle of my lower lash line and the I applied the purple to my outer lower lash line. Using a pencil brush to do this and I blend the shadows together.

Then apply liquid or gel liner in a winged liner style. Apply mascara you can also curl your lashes if you like. Then finish the rest of your makeup the way you want. I added false lashes to add more drama to this look and I used a raspberry blush and purple lips to finish off the look.
