KKW Beauty Ultralight Beam Duo Review

I have been wanting to try something from Kim Kardashian West's Cosmetic line for the longest time now and I finally bought something from her line. Recently maybe about a month ago she came out with a new product her Ultralight Beam Duo which is a Lip Gloss and Loose Pigment set. This is what I will be reviewing today.

Kimoji, Worth it?

I like the Kardashian I know alot of people don't but I have been watching there show since it first came on E! when I was in highschool lol. I don't like everything that they do but I do like them. At first when I saw that Kim was coming out with her own emojis I knew for sure I was not going to get this and then I kept seeing them posting about it on instagram and it was super annoying...

KARDASHIAN BEAUTY A WEEK OF KISSES REVIEW

This gloss set was a gift I got, my friend knows that I love the Kardashians. My favorite is Khloe, and when my friend went to the US she got me this gift. Sadly the Kardashian Beauty line in not sold in Canada I wish it was but it is sold in the US and UK. Hopefully it will be coming to Canada soon.

Sundays gloss is nude with sliver shimmer, I have to say I don't like this gloss at all I don't think it is a really unattractive colour.

Mondays gloss is a peachy nude gloss.

Tuesdays gloss is an coral pink gloss with gold shimmer.

My favorite shades are Monday-Wildflower Honey, Wednesday-Wild Honey and my favorite out of my favorites is Saturday Blackberry. I don't have a berry gloss only lipsticks so this is prefect for days I don't want to wear lipstick but I still want to wear a berry colour on my lips :)

Overall

◦ Feels like a plumping gloss with a tingle when applied, however tingling feeling does ago away

◦ Hard to apply straight from tube does not have an even application, you really have to work at it to get a good coverage

◦ Wish this set was a gloss set that came in a plastic or glass tube with a wand applicator for better application of product

◦ Has a nice amount of colour pay off, not a sheer gloss set

◦ I personally think the packaging could be better not a fan of the design

◦ Not all shades are great for different skin tones

◦ Not a sticky gloss has a nice thick butter smooth feel on lips

◦ Colour fades after a few house, but I don't see that as a big deal

◦ I do like the idea of this set, I hope they come out with more

◦ All glosses have a nice pleasant smell

KARDASHIAN BEAUTY MAKE UP LOOK

Hey everyone, I hope you are all doing good. My friend got me this Kardashian palette called Touch Tone in Mirage and I thought let’s do I look featuring only shadows from this palette. Hope you like!

How to Create This Eye Look

First step is to prime your eye lids and lower lash line.

Then I applied the dark plum satin shadow from the Touch Tones Palette to my crease and outer v. Apply the purple shadow also to the inner part of your crease as well. Then taking the 6th shadow from the left of the palette I applied that to the middle of my lid, when with a blending brush I blend the two colours together.

Then with the 3rd colour from the palette I applied that gold shadow to my inner lid and tear duct. Then to blend out my inner crease I took the first shadow from that palette which is a matte nude with a blending brush I applied the shadow and blend out the edge of where the gold shadow stopped and purple shadow stop.

Then taking the copper shadow which is the 4th shadow in the palette I applied that with a light hand above my crease with a blending brush.

Then I applied with a blending brush a cream colour matte shadow to highlight my brow bone. This is the 2nd shadow in the palette.

For my lower lash like I applied the 3rd shadow into my tear duct, then a applied the same shadow that same shadow that is on the middle part of my lid onto the middle of my lower lash line and the I applied the purple to my outer lower lash line. Using a pencil brush to do this and I blend the shadows together.

Then apply liquid or gel liner in a winged liner style. Apply mascara you can also curl your lashes if you like. Then finish the rest of your makeup the way you want. I added false lashes to add more drama to this look and I used a raspberry blush and purple lips to finish off the look.

DIY Kim Kardashian Hair Chain

Hey everyone I'm back from my trip to Jamaica. I will post about my trip later with pictures in the week or next week once me and my cousin upload all the pictures we took :)

I love Kim Kardashian style and I love her jewelry line Belle Noel. I was inspired for this DIY by one of her pieces from her line called Belle Noel Molten Gold Bar Hair Piece (which you can purchase online). I would love to purchase one of her hair chains but until then here is a quick inexpensive DIY.

What You Need

Chains (Michaels Craft Store)

Findings (Michaels Craft Store)

Hair Clips

Pliers

Sissors

Step 1

Using scissors which I forgot to include in the picture cut your chains the length you wish. I cut my chains in half. Also I first used only one chain but later decided to add another chain which I cut in half as well and only used one of the half's.

Step 2

Next using your findings you going to open them up and loop the chain in the finding. Loop all of your chains into the first finding one at a time. Then loop the other ends of the chain into second finding.

Step 3

Now for the last step, once you have done adding your chains to the findings you should then loop the findings onto the hair clip (make sure when you buy the hair clips that have holes were you can loop the finding) and once you done close the findings.

So I was on youtube watching some makeup videos and I saw in my subscriptions that some makeup guru were doing a Kim Kardashian makeup look from the Kardashian 2011 Christmas card that was shot by Nick Saglimbeni. I liked her makeup so I decied that I would give this look a try for christmas and here are the results. This makeup look is also a great look for New Years so give it a try! Also I've recreate Kim outfit for that she was wearing for less.
