RiRi Hearts MAC Lipstick Review (Who's That Chick)

 Last week RiRi Hearts MAC was released online and the week before that is was release across MAC store in North America and then the following week release in other countries as well MAC counters. I decided that it would be so crazy at MAC that I would wait until Oct 3rd when it would be released at my local MAC counter and to my surprise it was crazy there too, I arrived 2 minutes after the mall was open and there was a line, lucky for me I wasn't to far behind in the line but I guess I wasn't lucky enough because everything I really wanted was sold out. I really wanted to get the lipsticks Talk That Talk and Nude, but within a few minutes they were sold out. I was only able to get Who's That Chick.   

 

 

 

 

About The Collection

Review

I have to say I'm not surprised that this lipstick didn't sell out fast since it is orange but I really wanted to get a lipstick from the collection so I decide I would give this a try. I have to say as a lipstick alone I don't think this it is not a flattering shade on me. But I think paired with other lipsticks this shade can be pretty. Who's That Chick is very pigmented with 2 coats it is also a frost finished. MAC describes this lipstick as a midtonal orange with frost. The frost is what I notice most about this lipstick and I think the frost can be nice paired with other lipsticks or glosses. If you bought this lipstick and don't really know what to do with it try pairing this lipstick with another colour play around until you find a combination that works for you.

Current Lip Favourites

 

 

Here are my current favourite lip products that I have mostly been wearing.

 

 

My favorite lip stick is hands down MAC Hang Up I just love this lipstick so much! Hang Up is  described by MAC as a deep berry with a cremesheen finish.

 

MAC Mall Madness is the lip gloss that I use the most, I wear this actually every time I've been to the mall since I got this or sometimes I just wear it when I'm at home. From the MAC website "High-gloss, glass-like finish tinted with violet, red and blackened plum - as rich and ravishing as Veronica herself. Wear it alone or pair it with lipstick for a perfectly glossed look. Limited edition."

 

Maybelline Plum Prospect I like to wear with Mall Madness. Plum Prospect is a sheer plum lip stick. Which I wouldn't really call this product a lip stick its more like a lipstick/lip gloss in one. With this product you can wear it as a nice sheer wash of colour or you can build it up.

Golden Globe Awards Giuliana Rancic Inspired Makeup Look

 

I usually don't watch award shows but I do love watch to the red carpet specials on E! because it gives me a chance to see fashion and makeup that celebs are wearing. One of my favourite makeup looks of the night was Giuliana Rancic, I also liked Jessica Alba, Jennifer Lopez, Kaley Cuoco and Adele.

My Back To MAC Freebie - Hang Up Lipstick Review

If you don't already know MAC now has a program called Back To Me where you can return 6 empty products back to a MAC counter, MAC store or online and you will get the choice to pick a free lipstick, lip gloss or eye shadow. When I found this out I actually had a few empty stuff that I need to throw out, so it was great that I found this out before I toss them in the trash.

 

I've been searching on the MAC site for a nice wine shade lipstick for the fall and when I went to back Michelle the lady that helped me out recommend this colour and I fell in love once I tried this one

I've been searching on the MAC site for a nice wine shade lipstick for the fall/winter season and when I went to MAC Michelle the lady that helped me out recommend this colour and I fell in love once I tried this on. I think it's a beauty it's not to red and it's not to purple it's just the perfect blend. You can also build it up and apply more if you wish for this shade to be darker, Hang Up is  described by MAC as a deep berry with a cremesheen finish. So far I have only tried two cremesheen lipsticks from MAC so far cremesheen is my favourite type of finish from them. I feel the cremesheen gives a little creamy texture and a bit of a shiny finish to the lipstick when you put it on and it goes on smooth.
