Guest Post Favorite Drugstore Makeup

My Favorite Drugstore Makeup
Hi, my name is Yasmeen before I started to talk about my favorite drugstore makeup I want to say thanks to Kayla for letting me to post on her blog.

I’m a highschool student and most of my makeup products are from drugstore so I thought it’d be fun to share with you my all time favorite drugstore makeup products because it’s inexpensive and they’re pretty much easy to get.

  1. Revlon Colorstay One-Stroke Defining Liner
This is probably the only eyeliner pencil that I really use. I’m still an amateur when it comes to applying eyeliner so I really love this item because it is easy to glide onto your upper eyelid and it actually last for a pretty long time.

  1. Revlon Photoready Concealer
My favorite stick concealer of all time. It has a creamy blendable texture which I really like it because it is so creamy that it glides smoothly on the skin. It also works well in covering dark circles and any imperfections. I would definitely repurchase this stick concealer when I’m finish with it.

  1. L’oreal Paris Shine Caresse
I bought this because Barbara Palvin was featuring it. Since I really like her I just get this lip stain without a second thought but I didn’t regret getting this at all. I adore this lip stain because of the color and when you put it on your lips it has this light liquid feel which is like water and it has a light flower scent. It does keeps your lips hydrated and it stays on my lips for the whole day long.

  1. L’oreal Paris True Match Blush
I actually got this as a gift from my mother when I first started with makeup. It also integrated with a mirror and brush so it’s really convenient to use it whenever you are. The staying power is around 5-6 hours for me. (I’ve normal skin) It is really easy to blend and gives off a natural flush.

  1. Maybelline Magnum Volum Express Super Film Mascara
I heard this mascara only sell it in Asia so if you can’t find it in the drugstore then you might have to order it online. I tend to rub my eyes and so far I haven’t experience any smudging/ fallout. It is also waterproof but I haven’t try if it does work against tears or water.
That’s all my favorite drugstore products I have to share with you, what are yours?

All Gone [Products That I've Finished] #1

Hey everyone today I'm going to share with you all some products that I have recently finished.

1. L'OREAL Paris Waterproof Gentle Makeup Remover
I personally don't like this makeup remover I have bought it twice this is my second time using it but I really don't plan on buying this ever again. It really bugs my eyes it's a gentle makeup remover but I don't feel its gentle enough for my eyes. I also find that this leaves your face feeling greasy.

2. Calgon Vanilla Swirl Body Mist
Believe it for not I actually bought this when I was in high school, I think grade 9 and I have now just finished this product. I never really used this that much I used it a few times as a body mist when I first got it but didn't really like it. What I did end up using this for was as a fragrance mist for my room.

3. EOS Lip Balm
I bought this because everyone was staying that it's such a good product, but I didn't really like it that much. I think the packaging is cute and it smells great. However for me this product doesn't last long and it doesn't keep my lips hydrated though out the night. When looking for lip balms I like ones that keep my lips hydrated while I sleep and this didn't do the job.

4. Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips
This is my favourite product, it works great and when you use it you really notice a difference in your skin. The only negative this is that it does have a strong smell when you wet the strip but beside that I would buy this again and again and I would recommend this to anyone who has blackheads.

5. The Body Shop Ginger Sparkle Body Polish
I love this product, it smells amazing and it so relaxing. I would recommend this to everyone to try a body polish from The Body Shop. I won this in a giveaway but I would buy this and any other body polish from this brand.

6. L'OREAL Paris Revitalift
I got this from my mother since she bought a new face cream and she didn't want to throw this away. Before this I have never used a face cream if my face was ever dry I would just use regular lotion for my face. I didn't notice any changes in my skin from this product. It made my skin feel oily and it didn't blend into my skin good. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

What are some product that you love or regret buying?

L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara Review

What L'Oreal says "L’Oréal introduces Voluminous® Carbon Black Mascara, for bold and beautiful lashes, with dramatic volume. It’s a shade that’s blacker than black! Safe for sensitive eyes."

I only bought this mascara because my friend picked it out for me and said it's the best. I'm always trying new mascara's and almost never use the same one twice as there are new mascara's coming out so often that when I finish one I'm always looking to try another because I have yet to find a mascara that I really love.

The size of this brush it pretty good I like the fact that it's not to big, it's just the right size for getting your lashes.
I have notice that this mascara does make my bottom lashes appear longer and thicker but with my top lashes I think it only makes them look thicker.
If your like me and you love to apply tons of mascara to your lashes i find that with Voluminous it does clump up if you apply more then 3 coats, which you can see in this picture my lashes are a bit clumped. So now I'm learning to only apply 2 to 3 coats.
Overall I don't think I will be buying this again but I have only used this mascara a few times. I may change my mind but for now I don't think i will be purchasing this mascara again.

What do you think of L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara?

L'oreal Gentle Makeup Remover Review

L'oreal Waterproof Gentle Makeup Remover
What the bottle says: Waterproof eyes and lips makeup remover, non greasy, removes long lasting makeup and very gentle.

What I think: First I'm just going to say I don't agree that this product is non greasy because at time when I remove my eye makeup it does leave my skin feeling a bit greasy which I don't like but this product it gentle I do agree with that. It takes of your makeup off very easily so your not tugging at your skin. But I do have to say that I have to work a bit to get of makeup around my lash lines and if this products gets into your eyes it sting alot. I do wish that this came in a bigger bottle for people that would use this everyday so it would last longer, but I myself don't normally wear alot of makeup everyday so I don't use this everyday. For me it last awhile but for other it maybe not.

Would I buy this again: Yes I would as this is my second time buying this product :)
