Today I have a guest post by Michelle Pino, I hope you will enjoy this DIY and I myself will be giving this a try!
Make Your Own Coconut Coffee Body Scrub Just in Time for Spring
If you are extra busy with kids because you’re running them to spring-time recitals, soccer practice and little league, you may not have much of a chance to take time off for a spa day. Many moms can relate to how haggard a mom can feel just after one afternoon of looking after one or two children. Children are always on the go and a mom’s job is never finished – she just repeats all the same tasks the following day!
Winter may be over but its effects tend to linger for a while. Nothing reminds us of winter quite like dry skin. Finding the time or money to go to a beauty club to get pampered for an afternoon, but you can still enjoy high-quality, skin-refining and hydrating beauty products for a fraction of a cost of spa products! By making your own homemade beauty treatments at home, you can find numerous ways to exfoliate your skin and bring your skin back to life with radiance!
Try out this mesmerizing coffee scrub that leaves your skin feeling satiny smooth and supple. With just a few ingredients, you can create this scrub that can be used three to four times a week to bring back a glow and a youthful appearance to your body.
What you need
1 cup of coconut oil
1/cup of fresh ground coffee
¼ cup of brown sugar
3 Tbsp. of honey
This is an easy mixture to combine. Simply mix it by hand until ingredients are blended and then store in a safe container. You can decorate the container by using a hot glue gun to put rustic-looking baling twine around the jar and then tying a ribbon at the top of the jar. This is an affordable and fun way to make your homemade body scrub look like a high-end retail scrub!
Use Your Coconut Coffee Body Scrub in the Shower
This rejuvenating body scrub will scrub away dead skin cells while deeply moisturizing your skin at the same time. On top of feeling amazing when you use this easy DIY body scrub, you will also love the way it smells!
You can use it in the shower three to four times a week by applying some to a body sponge and then massaging over your entire body. It is fine to use on the face, feet, and any other part of your body! When you step out of the shower, you will feel like a new creature, and you will be ready to put on your favorite spring time dress to show off your radiant and youthful new skin!
