All About The Moon Nails

These is a cute trend that I have been seeing lately and I'm going to show you how to get this simple chic look in two simple steps.

HOW TO

First apply a base coat to protect your nails, then pick a base colour I'm using Nicole By OPI All Kendall-Ed Up.

Next once the base colour has dried pick a top colour I'm using Julep-Kim.

Appreciating Yourself During Cancer Treatment

Going through cancer treatment is a process that racks both the mind and body for months and even years. Women often find themselves distressed losing both hair and weight, reduced to a mere shadow of their former selves. Although beauty is often the last thing on a patient's mind, the toll of cancer on the body can lead to a slow deterioration of self-worth and even cause depression in some women. Doctors often advocate the necessity of a positive mindset while fighting cancer, and the dangers of falling into apathy. There are so many things that are out of your control in the months following a diagnosis, but every woman deserves to feel beautiful.

Cancer can be exhausting. Whether you have been diagnosed with breast, skin or even mesothelioma cancer from asbestos exposure, the road to recovery is fraught with hardship. Many women abandon their beauty products and regimens under the strain, without realizing that they may be damaging their self-perception. No one expects you to be dolled up like a model at the grocery store, but a few of your favorite routines may prove comforting. Treat yourself to a makeover with some new makeup and perfume, or go out for a manicure and pedicure. If you enjoy fashion, buy some new clothes to spruce up your wardrobe. Remember that, while this may be the hardest period of your life, it isn't your fault and you deserve to indulge yourself every once in a while.

For many female cancer patients, the loss of hair during radiation therapy is one of the hardest side-effects to cope with. Some women find that wigs, while not perfect, allow them to go about their daily lives without invasive stares and self-consciousness. Another option is to use decorative scarves and hats to cover your head. Of course, some women choose to flaunt their bald head as a badge of courage, showing off their will to survive. Beyond looking good, the most important thing you can do for yourself both during and after treatment is to maintain good physical fitness. Staying in shape wards off depression, improves appetite and maintains muscle mass that would otherwise waste away. Simple activities like going for a walk or attending a yoga class are enough to keep your body fit without overexerting yourself.

Every woman has at least one little vanity to take pride in. A cancer diagnosis doesn't need to be the end of your beauty. In fact, taking care of your outward appearance can help disguise any inner illness, boosting your self-confidence and even aiding your prognosis. No matter how you feel, you have every reason to love how you look. Take a few moments out of each day to appreciate yourself, and see how quickly your outlook on life improves.

Maybelline Line Stiletto Review

Recently Maybelline has come out with there new liquid eyeliner called Line Stiletto, which comes in 3 shades, Blackest Black, Very Black and Brownish Black. I bought Brownish Black and didn't realized that i bought the wrong shade until after I opened the package, which this always happens to me. I done this too many time to count with mascara and eyeliner. I always just assume that when I pick up liquid eyeliner or mascara that there all black. I never check to make sure that it's the right colour. So since I open it already and it was cold outside I didn't want to go back to the mall so I stayed with this colour.

WHAT I THINK

I agree with the package this product does create slender lines, its easy to use which makes this great for beggingers, it does give even colour and last long. I ended up with the wrong colour I don't really like brown liners but when Brownish Black drys it appears to look black. I paid $10.99 CAN for this which is not a bad price when compared to other brands, but I think this should cost less maybe around $8.99.
