How To

Step 1. Use a light colour brown for the base of the ice cream cone. Paint a triangle on your nail, this doesn't have to be neat as we will clean it up later with the white nail polish.

Step 2. With a dotting tool or a thin brush paint dark brown lines on the cone in a criss cross pattern.

Step 3. With the white nail polish your going to clean up any mistakes you made when you painted on the cone. This will also serve as a background colour.

Step 4. Next start with the colour that your using for the ice cream your going to start from the base of your nail and paint down. To create the melting affect with the ice cream let a little bit of the nail polish from the brush drip onto your nail.

And there you have it cute ice cream nails perfect for the summer!

Sephora Harmony Trio Bronzer Apricot Review

Walking around in Sephora I was exploring and I discovered that Sephora as a sales bin which is basically hidden in one of the corners of the store. I wonder why lol anyway I looked around to see if they had any good stuff and I found this little gem.

(this is a bit beat up as this product was in the sales bin)

About The Product

Sephora Harmony Trio Bronzer is a powder that comes in 3 glowing shades rose, orange and gold. You can use these shades as a highligther they also are great alone on your eyes or together. Sephora Harmony Trio Bronzer also comes in Rose.

Review

I personally have never used a product like this so I have nothing to compare this too. With that being said I like this product I think this goes on smooth, it blends will toghether and with other products. I personally use this on my brow bone as a highlighter, I swipe my brush in along the shades then apply to my brow bone. I love the way this highlights my brow bone. This product goes perfectly with a hint of shimmer.

Simple DIY - Make Your Lipstick Into Blush

What your going to need is lipstick and lotion

Dab a medium amount of your lipstick on you hand and on the other side of your hand pour out a small amount of lotion.

Next dab your finger into the lotion and mix it into the lipstick only us a very small amount of lotion.

Now apply to your cheeks and you have your own cream blush. I like this better then cream blush because it really mixes well into your skin because of the lotion and I think it look more natural.

Recent Winnings Mac Lipstick and Naughty Monkey

Recently I won two prizes from giveaways, one from Country's blog Eyes, Lips & Curls and another prize from Cheryl's blog Makeup By Cheryl H. 

From Country's blog I won a Mac Lipstick in Dare You. This lipstick is a ruby red with shimmery throughout the lipstick, its creamy which is a big plus for me because I love that I don't have to apply lip balm before putting this lipstick on because its has a cremesheen. I'm in love with this lipstick and I DARE YOU all to try it!

From Makeup By Cheryl H I won a gorgeous pair of wedge sandals.

This brand is called Naughty Monkey (which I love their name it's so cute) and you can check out there facebook page here or their website Naughty Monkey here. They have tons for style for every girl. The shoes that I won are called Fixation and it comes in grey, yellow, blue and tan. I'm happy that I ended up with blue since it's my favorite colour. I love me shoes and I can't wait till it's summer so I can strut my stuff in them lol. For now I will just pratice walking in them at home :D

OH MY! Katy Perry Lashes

Ever since Katy Perry Lashes came out I have been dying to try them, and I finally got my hands on a pair. I thought if I wanted to try these I would have to be buying them online but one day I opened up my April issue of Seventeen Magazine and there was an ad for the lashes and I saw that they were being sold at Ultra which is not in Canada and Clarie's which is in Canada. Ok so the lashes they I got are OH MY!

These lashes are drama drama drama and they for sure live up to there name. They made up of 3 thick lashes. You also get lash glue in the package as well as instructions. I've always wanted to try lashes like these because they look so thick and fun. I wouldn't wear them in the day but on a night out sure, there prefect with a cat eye makeup look.

Nail Stamping Art From KKCenterHK

I was given a chance by kkcenterhk to try out there stamping nail art plate. I have tried stamping nail art before as a while back I got a mini kit for Christmas.

If you want to give nail stamping art a try you will need to purchases a nail kit, which you can get at kkcenterhk for $4.50 which is so much cheaper then buying a kit and of course stamping plates which are $5.05. Here is what there stamper and most plates look like. Also note that when you get a image plate there is protective plastic on top of it to protect the plate. It's kind of hard to see but make sure you remove the plastic before you start using it.

For me when I using stamping nail art, I like to only do it on one nail because sometimes I think it could look to busy if you do it on every nails depending on what image your using.

HOW IT WORKS

Nail stamping works by you putting nail polish on to the image you want to put on your nail, then with the scraper you scrap off the nail polish and what is left is the nail polish in the image. Next you take your stamper and stamp the image plate then quickly stamp it onto your nail. You then you have a great design on your nail.

Personally I don't use image plates a lot unless I have the time for it because I think it does take up a bit of time doing this and personally I like water decals better because it faster then this process. But that's just what I think.

Too Faced Smokey Eye Palette Review

For my birthday which is today :) My cousin got me Too Faced Smokey Eye Palette she gave me my gift early that way I could try it out and review it. Just a note there are two smokey eye palettes from Too Faced I'm reviewing their new one.

Like always there are 6 shadows in a palette and they are grouped up into Day, Classic and Fashion looks to go along with the 3 makeup instruction cards you get with Too Faced Eye Shadow Palettes along with the 3 instruction cards you also receive a sample of Too Faced Shadow Insurance. My favourite shadows from this palette are Clover, Up In Smoke, Nice Ash, Smoking Jacket and Smolder. I just adore the names that Too Faced comes up with for there shadows there always such cute names!

Overall

Out of the two Too Faced Palette's that I have, I would have to say I like this one the best, the colours are perfect shade for creating smoking eye looks, also most of the shades would look great on any skin tone. There is a mix of shimmer shadows and matte. The pigmentation is deep is the shimmer shadows and you can mix shadows from different rows together to create your own smoking look as I think all the shades in this palette work so well together. I would recommend this palette to anyone who loves wearing smokey eyes. I give this palette a 4.5/5 rating.

Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips Review

Biore is a brand that I think is mostly know for there deep cleansing pore strips which help removes blackheads and dirt that gets deep down into your pores. You can purchase Biore pore strips from 6 to 14 in a box. I decided to go with the box that comes with 6 strips.

Here is what the strips looks like.

How this product works is you wet your nose and the area around your nose, place the strip on for 10 to 15 minutes or until the strip is dry and gently peel off. I really needed these as I have had trouble getting my blackheads to go away.

And this is what the strip looked like after i used it. As you can see I have a lot of blackheads on the tip of my nose and some around my nose. I loved this product it's been a few days since I have used this and I haven't seen really any blackheads. Overall I would by this again and again and again because I really do like this and it was easy to use.
