I have another water decal nail art to share with you all, from Born Pretty. Born Pretty was kind enough to send me this water decal which is a chain and anchor design. When I saw this design I was in love with it because I think it's so cute. I have to say this is one of my favourite designs from there water decals that they offer on their site.

 

 

 

What you will need for this is your water decals for course, a small bowel with water, scissors and tweezers.

 

 

How To

1. Once you have painted your nails and they are fully dry, cut out the designs you wish to use for each nail. I personally like to cut out all 10 that I will be using for my nails and then I put the rest away. This is better to not have to go back and forth with cutting the designs out.

 

2. Next dip your design into the water for 10 to 20 seconds, the longer then better because it helps the design to peel off of the paper better.

 

3. Next peel the design off of the paper and apply the sticker to your nail.

 

4. Once you have placed the sticker apply a top coat of polish, and you're done :)

Review

 When I saw the price of this product which was under 5 dollars I picked it up why'll I was waiting in line to check out at Forever21 because it was cheap and I wanted to give them a try. Sadly this was a waste of my money. These nail stickers are easy to put on but it's hard to get out the bubbles and smooth it over your nails. It's very sticky so if you don't place them right you can easily take them off and do it again. I also like how thin they are because it looks more like nail polish and not like you're wearing a nail sticker. However because of this product be so thin I think that is what makes these stickers chip so fast. My nails chipped as you can see in the picture above within the first day I was wearing them. This is so not worth $3.80 and I will not be buying theses again which is sad because I think they come in really cute designs but these don't last long they don't even last a day. This is so NOT the PREFECT MANICURE.

1.Sugar Lip Treatment I love love love this stuff, I can't explain how great this lip treatments are I have only tried the mini ones but I would for sure get the full size. I would recommend this to anyone.

2. Julep Nail Therapy I didn't dislike or like this product I haven't notice any chances in my nails when I used it. This is a product that I wouldn't buy again unless it came in a set with other polishes.

3. Neutrogena Makeup Remover these cloths are great at removing your makeup in a few wipes the cloth in formulated with cucumber and aloe.

4. MAC Gently Off Eye & Lip Remover this is great at removing makeup, it's also great to clean up any mistakes with a q tip instead of wasting a makeup remover wipes to clean up a little mistake. The only thing is that this product did trouble my eyes, I have sensitive eyes and I felt like this was not gentle enough for them or it could be because of the oil that is in this makeup remover the was the problem for my eyes, I'm not to sure. I would choose makeup wipes over a liquid remover on a daily basics. But this remover was great at getting off lipstick and the stain that can sometimes be left behind.

5. Revlon Lip Butter Sugar Plum was my favorite lip colour that I own and it's sad to see that it's all done now but I plan on trying other shade from Revlon Lip Butter collection as I love the formula of this product. I have a detailed review on Revlon Lip Butters click here.

6. Dove Gosleeveless was a total waste of my money this product did not last long at all. It just failed in my book and I switched back to my regular Dove deodorant, I haven't even finished this product there is still some left but it's just not a good product. I hate having to waste what is left over by throwing it away but this was just a total waste. I would not recommend the Gosleeveless collection however their visiblysmooth collection is great and I would recommend that line to people.

7. Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara at first I did not like this mascara because it has fiber extensions which I didn't like but once the fibers were all finished from the mascara I started to like this mascara. However I will not be repurchasing this product because I didn't like it over all. You can check out my review of this mascara here.

8. Revlon Lash Adhesive is great there is no waiting time for the glue to get tacky before you apply your lashes and I like that I can apply the lash glue with a brush better than using lash adhesive that comes in a tube. This lash adhesive dries clear the only problem is that after a why'll some brush hairs spiked out from the brush. Also when cleaning off extra glue on the rim of the tube from the brush the lid would get hard to close I guess from dried glue on the rim of the tube.

9. Sephora Blotting Papers come with100 sheets in a pack which is great, they are a good size compared to the ones I currently have now which is NYX the Sephora blotting sheets are better in size and have more in one pack, but they do cost 10 dollars which is more then NYX.

Zipper Nail Art

 

My favourite kind of nail art to do is nail art stickers or water decals, they are super easy and perfect if your not so good with nail art. I was sent these zipper nail stickers from Born Pretty to share this nail art with you all.

 



How To

 

1. Once you have applied your base coat and your nail polish let them fully dry. Cut out the designs that your going to use for each finger and remove the plastic from the stickers.

 

2. With tweezers place the sticker in a bowel of warm water for 10 seconds.

 

3. Once the sticker has been in the water for 10 seconds remove it and with your tweezers remove the sticker from the paper and place it on your nail.

 

4. Once the sticker is placed on your nail apply top coat and your done.

In 3 easy steps your done! Just like that.

Review

For a while I have been wanting to try a NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss. I've finally purchased one on Canada Day when Designer Cosmetics was having a no tax sale, I also had a coupon for 20% off as well. So which ever promotion a used I knew I would be saving so money. The colour I purchased is Beige; Beige is a soft pink shade. When applied to lips the colour is a bit sheer like most regular lip glosses are. If you want more colour you can apply a second coat and your lips won't get to glossy. I applied a 3 coat however and my lips started to develop a burning feeling, weird I have no clue way this happened as I don't believe this lip gloss is a plumping gloss. NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss is creamy and moisturizing but when the loss starts to fade which I believe this happened after around 2 hours the gloss does become sticky. The best part of this lip gloss is the smell; I'm just so in love with the smell it smells like gummy cherry candies.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Smoky Extravagant Review

Today I have a review on Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant Mascara, I was lucky enough to been sent two samples that I got to try out.

The dual-purpose cone-shaped brush has a precision tip that separates lashes as the rounded base creates extravagant volume from any distance."

 

 

Review

Smoky Extravagant is new from Make Up For Ever, the colour of the mascara is in shade black, this mascara only comes in black. I like the shade of this mascara as I think it's very black and I personally prefer very black mascara. The mascara wand brush is cone shaped which makes it easy to grab the smaller lashes that I have with the smallest part of the brush. In the first picture is a before of my lashes, and then the second picture is a side view from the first day I tried MUFE Smoky Extravagant. I love that the mascara brush really grabbed onto my bottom lashes well, I also feel the mascara made my lashes a bit longer. I also applied 4-5 coats of mascara and it did clump some of my lashes. In the third picture are my lashes with 1-3 coats of the mascara and I find that my lashes didn't clump as much as they did when I applied 4-5 coats. I love mascara and I'm always applying a lot I find with this mascara less is more so I would recommend not applying so much that way your lashes won't clump. This mascara is smudge proof as well water-resistant, and was easy at the end of the day the to get off with my makeup remover. I also noticed that when this mascara dried I didn't notice any flakes rubbing off when I rub my eye to test if it was smudge proof. Overall I think this is nice to have, I really do love the design of the brush the best. It grabs my baby lashes well which is a problem I have sometimes with other mascaras wands.

NYX Jumbo Lip Pencils Review

Review

Pink Nude is not what I expected it's a frosty lip pencil. To me it doesn't look like a pink nude its more nude. This maybe could be because of the frost that it doesn't look pink, I think the frost finish might have taken away from the pink nude colour NYX intended this lip pencil to be. I wouldn't recommend this lip colour to a lot of people as I think it would look best on a light complexion then a tan or darker complexion. If you chose to wear this alone as a lipstick I would also recommend some lip balm apply to your lips first because this lip pencil in Pink Nude was kind of drying to my lips.

Vixen looks like a brown lip pencil but it's actually a very deep red. The colour is very opaque and it does leave your lips a bit stain afterwards. Unlike Pink Nude I find that Vixen when applied to my lips was not dehydrating at all. The formula of both pencils is creamy and both go on smooth. However I think Vixen is a colour that is more universal, a wide range of different complexion could for sure rock this colour.
