Hey guys! Today I have a review on a Sephora Collection product that keeps selling out!! The first time I decided to buy it I came into work and it was sold out. Then I went to buy it online and I almost got it but then I got an email telling me my order didn't go through because the product had sold out. Lol just my luck right? The third time I finally got my hands on 2 of Sephora's Mud Purifying & Mattifying Mask. Here is my review on this mask!
What is Sephora's Purifying and Mattifying Mud Mask all about? It's a mask that cleanses the skin to remove clog pores, blemishes and help to mattifying the skin. If you have oily skin like me or acne prone skin then you must give this a try.
This mask contain zinc and copper. Zinc in skin care is good because it helps to repair damaged tissue and heal wounds. So this means Zinc can help your skin with this mask to heal acne scarring. which I think is amazing. Then there is also Copper in this mask, Copper helps in the production of collagen and elastin making your skin softer and smooth.
This mask can be used 1 - 2 times a week. I apply this mask with a flat foundation brush and when it dries it turns to white. You can massage this mask into the skin, I don't but you can if you like. Once the mask is dry rinse with warm water.
I love the way this makes my skin feel after I rinse this off, for me I have oily skin to I like that it help to control the oil. As well this doesn't have the gross smell that some other mud mask have. Which is a BIG plus in my book! Nothing is worst then putting something on yourself that doesn't smell good. When you first put this on you get a cooling sensation unlike another mask that I have tried before this sensation is not a burning feeling and it does go away pretty fast. Overall I do like the mask and the price for it is only $24.00 Canadian, what a great price!
This mask has been sold out so often and I think that speaks to how great this mask is.
